Inspired by the street glory of speed machines, Oakley design language did a complete 180 with the Gascan Sunglasses. Oakley traded soft curves for straight edges and hard lines to sculpt their very first high-wrap lifestyle shades. Gascan lenses are cut from the curve of a single lens shield, then mounted in the frame to maintain the original, continuous contour. The toric lens design became known as Gascan and it spawned an aesthetic so new and original, Oakley customized their corporate logo for the frame.
