Description
The ICONX models are amazingly detailed etched models that are fun and satisfying to assemble. Each model starts out as 4×8 inch metal sheets and you simply pop out the pieces using wire cutters and follow the included directions to assemble your model. The USS Roosevelt was launched in 1984 and first saw action during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. In 2001 on the evening of October 4th, the carrier launched the initial strike of Operation Enduring Freedom against al-Qaeda in Afghanistan from the North Arabian Sea. The ship is 1,092 feet long and holds up to 90 fixed wing planes and helicopters. The model is 8×1.75×1.9 inches when built. Difficulty level: Moderate. No glue or solder needed.
