The built-in silicone honeycomb core dries quickly and won’t sour or produce bacteria. The outer chain quickly scrubs away baked-on, caked-on food bits without removing the seasoning, that coveted buildup that accrues over time to create a naturally non-stick surface. Not intended for pans made from materials other than cast iron.
